Which televised film do YOU most associate with breaking noisy, sprout-fuelled wind on the sofa, trying to get everyone to shut up so you can hear it - before falling asleep 10 minutes after it starts?

I'll go for BEN HUR.

EDIT - I do NOT try to get the noisy drunks in my family to shut up just so they can listen to my breaking wind. I meant the TELLY.

When I was a nipper it was always Wizard of Oz. During my flat / houseshare days it was a good old Bond movie so that we could play the fantastic James Bond DRINKING GAME. Nowadays it is 'It's a Wonderful Life' as it's Mrs GBs all time favourite movie, bless the over soppy mother of my child.

Is the Bond drinking game similar to the Star Wars drinking game we played at Uni? Whenever your character is speaking you have to drink? Got through a film and a half of R2D2 before collapsing.

To this day, no one has ever attempted the Withnail and I drinking game and lived.

Those who do are recommended to attempt the Leaving Las Vegas drinking game or the Barfly drinking game.

Similar yes. Basic rules are:

1) Prepare large alcoholic drink of choice
2) Down 1 finger for each gadget that gets used
3) Down 2 fingers for each time he beds a girl
4) Down the whole drink in one every time he says 'My name is Bond, James Bond'

5) After 1 - 2 films depending on content pass out
6) Get rudely awakened by sprout induced flatulence
7) Repeat

What are the rules for playing this in the cinema during the new Bond film?

1) Don't get caught
2) Try to cut down on the sprouts before hand or you'll be thought inconsiderate by your fellow cinema goers
3) If the game goes successfully do not get the train home or you'll end up sleeping in Chichester station
