Augustiner Keller, followed by the Hofbrauhaus...

(GG & UB, you don't know each other but you are both on the same trip in June!)

If you are going to go, go early, and go large

if you want to really boss it and you have a good size group - then dress-up the more English the better

"St George knights" or buisnessmen but have the bowler hat & brolly NOTE : WWII fighter pilots not such a good idea

Also, get a few good english drinking songs practiced so that you can boss the ozzi ozzi ozzi / usa usa etc

The 'bloody' Terry Butcher theme is a winner.

Erm. Any of them? I don't remember which ones I went into, although I recall a lowenbrau moving statue. Great weekend - wife happened to be on business there, flight from stansted fri night and back sun night, hotel and food paid for - pre children good times.

Also worth getting the S bahn out to Erding home of Erdinger

A glass of the local weissbier whilst lounging in the lagoon at the Erdinger Thermal Baths - is my idea of heaven
