I regularly do that exact journey ... HH to Poole.
I would say that horrible Hole Pompey is just about bang on Half way ... In terms of time taken to drive . Not sure about Exact distance though.

Used to live near Hove Station and would regularly pop round there for dinner while the washing did in the launderette. Gotta say I prefer a chicken kebab though.

So Someone does actually remember it.
I used to go in there before every game at the goldstone - Hence the name. Added to the fact that my nickname was Tummy at the time..........Maybe that was due to the first piece of information mmmmmm.
