Blimey - what a treat for you Lord B. Both in the same Division ? Could not have worked out better. I hope it's a good game.

Take care. I believe there were problems during this fixture last season.

By all means have a non league round up (I thought there was one anyway) but all we are asking for is an hour (less after the Manager and normally one player has spoken) to discuss all things Albion.

I regret that until BBC SCR ditches the new format I will stop listening.

One thing that amazes me about the match day coverage is the non-league updates where the summariser just reads the whole thing off a piece of paper in a dour manner like someone reciting a piece in the school assembly.

Do many other league clubs in the top two divisions (especially where they are the only league club in the county) have to share their airtime as much as the Albion? Do Pompey and Southampton get lumped together by BBC local radio on matchdays?

Ian - roughly what sort of listening figures does the show pull in?

Strongly disagree - why do we have to TABLOIDISE everything? Aren't Albion supporters capable of some sensible discussion without discussing all that old bollocks? There is too much routine clueless bad-mouthing of players on the phone-in already, we don't need any more! Possibly THAT'S what has made people lose keen interest (relatively speaking) in the phone-in, eh?

All I'm saying is that Harty highlights the main issues, possibly plays Devil's Advocate to provoke some people into calling.

There's nothing tabloid about it - Radio 5Live uses this strategy on their 9am phone-in shows and they're usually very stimulating debates...eh?!

Good point - he needs to get people on the phone or the show dies or as is happening gets filled with non Brighton talk. If we get a good cup away draw with a small allocation this year, that should get the lines buzzing again or better still Manure at home, it will be meltdown at southern counties

Isn't one of the problems that the phone in comes straight after the game? By the time I get back to the P & R the phone in is half over and unless you have a mobile not much you can do.
BTW which is quicker to get out of Mithras House or Mill Lane?
When I get back home from the Withdean I ring from my back garden at about 5.15 - 9.45 ish evening games ..............but for how much longer??????!!!!!!!!!!
