Just plain tasteless But I remember at the time many people couldn't stand Bolan as he had 'Sold Out'. After all Tranansaurous Rex and T-Rex were (in the beginning) the same band but two completely different genres of music.

Purists (hippies) resented him for going Pop, stupid really.
