Perhaps you could share some of this knowledge with Return of the Rev.

Whilst your there explain to him why and how Bristol isn't 'up north'

It is you know:
Brighton 50.8429° N
Bristol 51.4500° N

Living In a Box
Met loads of very good friends

Quite a few mates.
Some fabulous memories.
An excuse to spend quality time with my 12 and 15 year old sons.
A common interest, and thus excuse to actually CONVERSE with said sons.

I'm 60 in a couple of months and recognise all of these. Our son is 28 now and travels down from London to sit next to me in the WSU; our daughter (25) loves to get along when she can blag one of our tickets - the grief I get for going to St Andrews without inviting her seems never ending.
The Albion is also the means by which I've made contact with a number of old schoolmates from Hove CGS. The Albion was a big part of our lives in the 60's, 70's & 80's and meeting up again after all these years has been great fun.
