West streets always been like that.

That's why Brighton's such a good place, the wankers all congregate on the same street leaving the rest of the city for the decent people.

bang on i remember when it was Coasters, the Top Rank and the Pink Coconut it was the worst place on earth.

unfortunately the pikey phoenomena is worldwide, it's got nothing to do with class , it's a general attitude that people seem to have these days that they can do what the fuk they want and if you dont like it you can feck off, it really pisses me off when i see people getting picked on or stood over by inconsiderate morons,
how many times have people had a lovely evening ruined by some wanker trying to prove something to himself or his pissed up mates,give the coppers tazers i say,stun guns the feckin lot......the sooner the better, mind you the coppers here have guns and mace and they hardly ever use them, every time some idiot gets shot theres a coronial inquiry and the copper is suspended for the duration.......
let em get on with it i say water cannons , bring back the birch, electric chairs, iron maidens...................come on lets ave it....!!!!

West Street after 8.0pm is an area to avoid but Brighton still has a buzz about it that you don't find anywhere else in England.
Not as good as Sydney though............or Seaford.

West Street has always been a place to avoid like the plague. You only have to walk a short distance to get to some quality establishments aaway from the majority of the scum.

Hopefully going out to australia and sydney to work next year- fingers crossed! Never been before.

Not denying Brighton is a quality city- far friendlier and more tolerant than any other city ive been to in britain which we should be proud of. I no West Street has always been bad but just dont remember it being quite as bad as thursday night! I guess the fact it was a bank holiday on friday probably made a difference as well. Still, normally the atmosphere in Brighton is quality and its great being home again for a bit especially with the weather we've had recently! Hopefully will settle back down in the area after a few more years enjoying my youth!
