Is 8.00 - 9.00 no good on Thursday for London commuters? I would have thought that 8pm would be perfect.......

What about Stanley Deason school as an alternative?

If your're looking as far away as Worthing, Burgess Hill might be worth trying as well.

Worthing's not far away at all. It's where I live, whereas Burgess Hill is almost in another county.

what about Lancing - it's only about 10 mins drive from Portslade.

Stanley Deason is on the other side of Brighton for me - a long way to travel.

I still think Southwick or Lancing would be best.

Just rung Lancing - they have tarmac pitches (double as tennis courts) plus indoor (double as Badminton).

The outside courts are all free at the moment (no block bookings), and they cost £10.50, inc floodlights.

Indoors - I haven't checked yet.

Southwick - they have 1 pitch - tarmac and it needs to be booked through the council !

Trouble is I don't think as many people would want to drive out to Lancing or Southwick as they would to Portslade or Stanley Deason.

Why?? I used to drive for Durrington to Portslade to play. Are they really that lazy?

Why don't you ring Stanley Deason and see if they actually have any pitches before we vote on where we should go...

Just a suggestion, because so far the only place that can offer us a pitch at a reasonable time is Lancing.

f*** it, just do the 9.30 on tuesay night. we are all adults here and i think we can stay up that long.......... ???

That is indoors though. I thought people preferred the outdoor version (a bit more space as well).
