Even if not all the games are, it's always exciting supporting brighton. Secondary psyching yourself up for a tonking then as your singing GOSBTS as the teams come out, you get all positive and think you could win and then do, a la West Ham, Palace away etc

Being real fans

Real circumstances (shit ground, no money)

Away games are f***ing class

It's exciting (up and down the tables, falmer fight)

And everything else the club has:glare:

Its grim up north
Singing Sussex By The Sea.

For an exile up north for years its the sound of proper accents united in the anthem makes the heart beat faster and the hair on the back of the neck stand up. And you know that it might happen and we'll get one over on some bunch of arrogant scum who "should be beating the likes of us". And even if we don't beat them on the pitch we'll shame them by our support.

Its because we know what its like to have bad times that it makes the good times FANTASTIC

NOT like the Arsenal fans who are sp bored of going to Cardiff that they leave before the end to catch the train

Or the Liverpool fans complaining that they haven't spend £xx million on some unknown from some two bob French side.

Forest fans are beginning to find out what its like to be shit on and without wishing the stress we had on anyone, I would (Kevin Keegan voice) Love It if Everton/Spurs etc found themselves in real trouble sometime. Naa. I don't mean that, but they do piss me off.

As Micky Adams says....

:albion:

That end of season feeling, when everybody is gobsmacked that, against all expectations, we have been promoted, relegated or not relegated - deservedly or not deservedly.

It sure beats finishing 13th, having spent most of the season not being too bothered about results.

I know that feeling well.
Now it's mates, drinking in the Tap before and after the game. supporting my local side, being part of the city, seeing my relatives at the match and generally belonging not just watching.
It's part of my life that my Dad introduced me to when I was young.
It's never boring as you never know what is going to happen next.
