What do Stewards do ?

Well it's more a plank of wood (painted blue) but the funny thing is walking alongside the visiting directors and guests on the way to the VIP area (aka the portakabin with the blinds).

What we NEED is an actual STEWARD to answer this question...BUT I don't know of any REAL LIFE STEWARDS who might frequent NSC who could answer this question.

my mate was a steward at the goldstone, used to smoke there, whatch the game there, let people through side doors free of charge and get paid for it!!!! ,on the downside he was threatend at one or two games , one of them was when he was told to walk away from an exit gate at the back of the north stand for his own safety.moments later the gate was stormed .sure one or two people on here would remember that incident?
