Dilemma time. The Rugby World Cup kicks off at 5am in Sydney, and I don't know where or whether to watch it. NSC decides. What do I do....

I have a Fancy Dress party to go to Saturday night, which is also a 30th birthday party - I have to go to it with the wife. But then what? Wake up early or see the night through?

Forgot the poll! Choices are:

Stay in bed - it's too early
Set your alarm for 5am & watch it at home
Set your alarm for 4.30am and taxi to the pub with your mates
See the night through until 7am, and risk divorce

Can a mod make it a poll?

Easy. You stay up through the night, ensuring you watch the game - then spend all of Sunday asleep in bed after enjoying a party and THE RUGGER.

Perhaps choose to sleep during the Formula One?

You forgot the sensible option:

Why would I want to watch the egg chasing world cup anyway?

I won't be.

I'm not gay, just curious. Like Alan Partridge is about lady boys.

Ah yes, but I have to take our little cousin out for his 6th birthday on Sunday

Nothing like taking the quiet retiring cousin out to cure a hangover! He will have you building Lego for him again.

If you have to think about it, and ask NSC - you aren't a big enough fan of rugby to watch it. You will sleep in anyway, and miss it.

To be fair to stumpy, he was at the last world cup final

So that gives him some sort of right to miss this one?

Watch it. It's not every year is it?

As a former REMF teammate, here's how to play it.

Do the party until late. Once you get home, have a quick nap on the couch (max 60 minutes - any longer and you'll move into deep sleep and feel even worse waking up), then wake up, shower and go down the pub at 4:30am.
