Spooky by Dusty Springfield.

Quite simply the best smooth funky song ever written.

( For those of you who dont know...the Carlsberg ad in the disco...shhh no small talk...)

I'm putting together a 60s playlist for my mum's forthcoming 60th birthday party.
Currently playing, and re-playing, and re-playing yet again "Haunted" by Dusty.
Now there's a groove.

Check Dusty on the soundtrack to 'The Stunt Man' ('Bits and Pieces'?) - astounding. Great film too!

Scott Walker 4
Scott Walker 'The Moviegoer' ('Glory Road' is too brilliant)
Nick Drake 'Bryter Later'
Janis Ian 'Aftertones'
Mojave Three 'Puzzles Like You'
