wherever the money is
Seeing as he is on a 5 month laon I bet it is with a view to a permanent move in the January transfer window. Not seen him yet as have been away but have heard good things about the lad.

On NSC for over two decades...
If McShane is as consistently good as he was against Derby I doubt Man U will want to let him go. Besides, the 5 month loan is more about covering Little Hinsh's expected length of abscense than anything else.

Fergies already said he's on the brink of the Man U first team so I cant really see a permanent signing happening. Maybe an extension to his loan 'til the end of the season but that all depends on how well/crap he does in the first half.

... and of course how things go at Man Utd. My bet would be that they let him stay with us but have the opportunity for an immediate recall if say they get a number of injuries in their first team, far better he gets regular Championship football than kicking around in their reserves.

Whats the betting that he plays a blinder for us then that 'massive' and well supported club Reading zzzzzzzz.......... nip in offer him a better deal and he leaves. Remember the other ginger who left? God I hate Reading, they deserve a right thrashing tomorow night make no mistake.

Yup, no doubt by 10am Wednesday morning both he and CKR will be on Reading's books. We owe them a result tomorrow night on the pitch.

From what I remember reading Man Yoo have done away with some of their reserve teams as Fergie wants to loan players out to get experience instead...That makes perfect sense.

I reckon we have absolutely no chance of signing him permanently unless we load a deal heavy in Man Yoo's favour, eg. £200,000 with a whacking great sell-on clause they get first opportunity to buy him back or something.

Cant see us ever getting him permanently if he carries on with Saturdays form but a season long loan has got to be looking good.

Agreed. 5 months isn't long enough even when Hinsh is fit.

How about 'None what so ever' ? He's a Premier player and we're not a Premier bound side right now.
