PC balkham on twitter said there were no arrests, no ejections and no problems pre or post match in the city. Wouldn't fans on the tracks resulting in delayed/cancelled trains constitute problems, and wouldn't some of them being arrested?

Think Transport Police would deal with the ones on the line so they might not of been counted as arrests in there. 2 reasons for the Falmer problems ive been told are fans fighting and a couple went onto the line and some people crossed the line to get to the other platform instead of using the bridge.

Was also power problems/broken down train at Worthing and Shoreham.

Platform 8 at Brighton waiting for our 14.22 to depart - two people, one male and one female walked past our train between the train and the fence by the track. No idea what they were doing there or if they were fans of either team but naturally power had to be shut off and a full check made to ensure they weren't the only ones.

There was no fighting, 1 idiot jumped down behind the train to take a short cut to get out. I was at the front of the 14.22 & chatted with the police & guards. The idiot ran off but the power was turned off as a matter of procedure & 15mins of ensuring he was gone followed before the line could be switched back on which took another 10.

Went to catch the 1407 to Lewes from Haywards Heath they then took the front 8 coaches off that was going to Southampton after a delay of a few minutes they reconnected both trains and took the 12 carriages to Eastbourne and said that they had to do it because of an emergency at Worthing which had meant the power being turned off on that route and surrounding areas in and around Brighton. We caught the non stop train to Brighton but was held for 15mins outside of Preston Park and then managed to catch a Seaford train that was held up and left at 1455, we eventually arrived in the ground 8 mins late for kick off.

Obviously nothing to do withh 1422 train as we had been told 15 mions earlier at HH.
