If he wants to go let him go, and stop wasting our money on court cases and care. He has obviously made his mind up. As long as he is aware he can't come back. Feck him

I'm afraid this country, or should I say the system seems to feel like it has a duty of care regardless of how bad people are. We should be sending a message loud and clear, you go out your not coming back. We will now waste hundreds of thousands of pounds on legal fees, lawyers and so called specialists trying to get in to the minds of young people. They we will be sent on some stupid deradicalisation programme until the next one gets caught going over again and again and again. This crap will never end. They should stop wasting money when it could be used for more important things.

We believe in rehabilitation in this country, which is something to be extremely proud of.

If we can't rehabilitate misled & disillusioned British teenagers, then we're simply not doing it well enough, although prevention is the key.

The heartlessness and lack of empathy of modern people is very concerning. These are impressionable and often troubled children who are making the news, not seasoned Jihadist terrorists... I'm continually astounded by the so many people who genuinely wish them dead.

But are you astounded by the number of westerners killed by Islamic extremists?

I was an impressionable teenager once, the most I did was pinch a volkswagon badge from the front of someone's camper van, get drunk at the weekends on Merrydown cider, and I really wanted to become a Mechancial Engineer. I wasn't angry like this lot, I didn't want to leave the country, kill people and wage war because of religion.

Didn't his uncle used to be a real pillar of the local community?I think he even dreamed of playing for his local football team, lovely family,so good to see them mixing with the community that offered them safety, education and security.

Wasn't it his uncle who was awarded huge compensation following a campaign to prove he was unfairly incarcerated in Guantanemo Bay?

I'm all for rehabilitating these misguided youngsters. It should be done in the quickest way possible. I think the quickest way is to let them go and realise how hellish it is. But once they're gone, that's it, no coming back. With any luck they'll get killed over there.
What we shouldn't be doing is spending millions of pounds dealing with them in this country and spending tens of thousands looking for them across the globe. **** 'em. They made their choice.

Best way, but you can guess what would happen next? They would seek a legal aid lawyer in the UK, and then take the issue up with the European Court of Human Rights asking to be allowed back in to the UK.
Too many do gooders in this country and too many people making money off the back of immigration cases, human rights and all the stuff this country has wasted tax payers money on.
