Good thread.

Being involved in cricket 7 days a week the weather has a huge influence on my activity and mood...

It's driving me mad. It's perfect weather for spinners ... and I'm out of action for eight weeks with a damaged finger!

First mention on bbc news that I recall ..not local but advice in some areas re shower not bath..possible hosepipe ban in NI

Yep. The outlook is STILL primarily dry and generally above average temps into July, so I'm sure things can change.

Meanwhile, here in the Serengeti (aka Saffron Walden), the forecast is for unbroken sunshine and minimum 26 - 28 degrees for the next 2 weeks at least...

Well, the heatwave continues, England finally triumph in a penalty shoot out and a World Cup Quarter Final vs. Sweden beckons, with a 3pm Saturday kick-off.
