I am born and bred Littlehampton,so I had the choice of Porstmouth or Brighton living halfway betwen the both of them.
My dad took me to Pompey to watch them play Sunderland and Wolves,in the days of Derek Dougan etc(Showing my age now:eek: )
Then my mate took me to an Albion game at the age of 12 and I stood in The North Stand and was gobsmacked by the atmosphere etc, even tho the game finished 0-0.

To this day I bleed Blue and White striped blood and so do my boys.

Never get tired of watching them and have a lot more to watch yet!

I've been watching the Brighton for 34 years, since Easter 1970 and I can honestly say that :

a) the last 5 years at Withdean have been the most exciting time ever, in that whole period, better than Mullery, better than Ward, better than the 1983 cup final

and

b) with a 'Yes' decision to come for Falmer that *undoubtedly* the very best is yet to come !

If the last 10 years was a film script the movie makers would have rejected it saying it was too far fetched.

Talking to somebody after the game on Sunday-he said that he was told that the club's trophy cabinet has been built big enough to display the European Cup/Champions League Cup...whatever it's called???

How's that for a bit of optimism?
chris kamara made a joke on sky about us not having a trophy cabinet! :salute: think we've got more need than most

I was born in Crawley and I still live in Crawley (although I wanna move out soon), but I went to a school in Burgess Hill for 9 years.

I could have supported a London team, but I decided when I was 14 that as I was Sussex (Come on Crawleys still in Sussex) born and bred, and had a lot of Albion supporting mates at my school in Burgess Hill and a fondness for Brighton, Sussex and it's people, due to having mates from here and going on constant trips and adventures around here, that the Albion would be my team for life. I have had fun since 2000 winning Div 3 Div 2, Div 2 playoff final, I will bleed Blue and White until the day I die no matter what Division Albion is in. I consider Good Old Sussex By The Sea to be my spiritual and football home.

Brighton and Hove Albion forever. Amazing how far we have come in the past 7 years. I wish I supported them even earlier.

P.S Would you call me a fake fan?:nono:

What do they say about truth being stranger than fiction? And it's all true. Blink, though, or take a moment of quiet contemplation and you can start to wonder, "did it all really happen?"

By the way, I'm off to York tomorrow, to an exhibition celebrating 200 years of the railways. The stripes will be proudly worn.
