Apparently it was only the 2nd time the number 10 and 11 batsmen have had the 2 highest scores in a test innings.

The other was in 1885.

Should be a good day today. Plenty in this pitch - we could even get a first innings lead.

And fair play to the Aussies in the other test. They set Pakistan a gettable 350 at under 3.5 an over and won comfortably. Joe Root, take note: that's how to do a declaration

Pitch absolutely made for Anderson and Broad with the new ball tomorrow morning……

***k.

Totally get your point, although it's also worth mentioning there's no way Anderson and Broad would've put on nearly 100 yesterday.

The Aussies have confidence in their attack...

I thought the same last night. Stuart Broad especially.

Less sure right now - although it is now starting to show some variable bounce.

Very tidy catch. Suddenly looking a lot sharper.

Don’t know who’s the third umpire but what a voice, would pay for audiobooks read by him

Anyway 96/6 now and England right back in this test

Windies all out for 150, England collapse to 45 all out , Windies go to calypso/ one day mode and knock off the hundred to win in 20 overs.

Don’t be ridiculous.

As if England make 45.

Some relatively serious journalists suggesting Leach open the batting. Got to say, maybe not as ridiculous as it sounds. At least he can push singles, something our red ball openers are completely unable to do
