They will underestimate us.

Leon will score.

We will win.

A honest wish but somehow I think they will be better organised.

I am pretty certain Mghee mentioned on SCR he was going to see this game so no doubt frantically calling all known scouts for defenders that are available :lolol: :lolol:

Its a sad day when we are fearful of a trip to bloody Wigan Athletic :lolol:
Mind you, we saw what they did to Palace last season...after an hour, my sides could barely take any more.

Defeat is probable, but not inevitable.

Absolutely.
But if we can get on top of the league, we'll have to be moved off again in the next 8 months...
and if we don't get up there at all, we'll never be there...

That didn't make sense, did it?

Nothing new there then.

we have wigan athletic on saturday this is going to be tough if thye can beat west ham united at upton park then we have to be fired up for this, i know we have leon back might be ben roberts as well or even chippy who knows but we will have to keep it really tight and keep ellington and roberts quiet all they will hurt us big time!! they r the early pace setters and if we aint up for this 1 then we might get frashed 4-0!!

i want a draw!!

A draw?!

I want a win

What have we got to lose? We are the underdogs. I fancy Cullip and Butters to keep Roberts and Ellington at bay and attacking is our strength. Leon is back.

The pressure is off.....I fancy a 1-0! :clap2:

Wigan did have a bit of a habit of struggling against lower placed sides at home last season. They lost at home to Wimbledon! There's still hope!

Sad maybe but I'm sure that if we had Dave Whelan's cash subsidising us we'd be doing far better. Bear in mind that Wigan have a hard core fan base of about 6000. People in Wigan have been supporting Bolton, the two Manchester clubs and the two Liverpool clubs not to mention Wigan RLFC for many years before Wigan became a league side.
