Would probably have been chalked off for a hand ball. Comedy of errors all round. Maupay’s shot was tame but we got a lucky break with the keeper spilling it right into Connolly’s path... who then wasted an opportunity many of us would have fancied putting away ourselves.

That's an absolutely awful miss - the keeper was on the deck!

It’s standard for us this season. I’ve seen worse. We basically need an open net with no keeper or defenders in the actual 6 yard box to score.

Never go a goal down to an Allarcunt or Pulis team, the clock will disappear. Freekicks and throw ins will take an age.

I think Maupay handled before he shot so Connolly saved us from more VAR frustration.
