West Brom assistant David Kemp has played down his presence at Albion's final two pre-season friendlies amid continuing speculation linking the Premier League outfit with Lewis Dunk.
Kemp, No.2 to Tony Pulis at the Hawthorns, was at the Kassam Stadium last night watching the Seagulls against Oxford United.
Former Oxford manager Kemp confirmed Argus reports there has been no bid made by the Baggies for Dunk.
He also revealed he will be at the Amex on Sunday for the visit of Lazio - primarily to cast an eye over one of Albion's opponents.
Dunk was scouted regularly by West Brom last season but interest from them or anyone else is bound to be rebuffed, since he is currently Albion's only established central defender who is fit.
"It was a good, all-round performance. I'm delighted with some of the young lads as well. It's a nice test for them. They have acquitted themselves very well.
"It is certainly the best we have been in pre-season. We were good for the whole 90 minutes."
