Campbell

Link is above now. Campbell not been doing too well lately, I hope he gets himself back into mental shape for the World Cup, he is still our best defender on his day.

Well managed by Wenger, but I suppose that is the difference between top class Premiership managers and whisky-sodden Championship ones!

So, let's run down our manager yet again.

Let's all moan and point out where he is going wrong.
What is it going to achieve?

I thought you might say that, but we can do with him in midfield!

Hopefully his P45. If the players are not above being slagged off, then MM is an equally valid target. Just showing how it should be done, rather than how he does his business.

At the end of the day, I doubt if he really gives a toss what we think (but I expect someone to come on and say that "when they were speaking to Mark yesterday he said.....etc etc etc").

Sacking the manager will not keep us up. It's just more whinging.

I think you will find it will be Ferdinands last game in midfield yesterday, and he will return to Defence where he has been performing well of late.

Terry is still performing very well despite the odd dodgy handball.

Carragher hasnt had a rest in god knows how long and they thought they could get away with it at home to Birmingham.

King....has just returned from injury and is looking sharper all the time.

Campbell.......in my opinion at the moment wont be heading to the world cup.

So when people are slagging off players on here, that's OK? Suggesting that they should be sacked, transferred, have their contracts cancelled, etc, that's fine? Why should MM be the golden child? Do you seriously think that his tactical decisions have been good this season? The way that he has played players out of position? The way he has man-mismanaged certain players?

Personally, I think that he should go, have done for some time. Yes he got us up, but Leon was instrumental in that as well, and some people forgot that quite quickly. McCammon scored a goal at Sunderland which gave us 3 points - how much was that goal worth? Everyone chooses to ignore that and claim that our season was saved by Virgo's equaliser (vital though it was). If you can slag players, then the manager is equally up for debate.

We are not "1 point from safety" - we are in the shite at the bottom of the league. We need results, and we need a manager who puts players in the right slots on the team sheet. It should have been McGhee calling up Harty and telling him to leave off the players, not McCammon having to defend himself.

Still, I suppose that the respective pay packets of McGhee and Wenger tell the tale of the better manager?

No I don't think it's fine to slag off anyone, players or manager.

Wheneve there is a poll where people can record their vote anonymously then it is always well in favour of McGhee, but all you read in posts is moaning and whinging.
People like me get accused of blind faith and other such dreadful insults when all I am trying to do is be reasonable.

The moaners are getting quoted in the press and on SCR where the reasonable ones aren't.
Still supporting the club and trying to be reasonable doesn't make good copy does it?

Let's see if he has the same reaction if Campbell persistently behaves like a small child. McGhee bit his tongue for nearly a year with the little shit, unless you think calling him inept ot inert is public chastising. Knight is trouble, Campbell is a professional, normally. No comparison between their attitudes imo so not really a reasonable comparison in manager reaction either
