What he did was clearly wrong.

But you can't help feeling the system, and his personal life pushed him over the edge, and if help had been readily available we may not have even been aware of his existence.

Psychiatric help can be a very long waiting process and the combination of the steroids making him paranoid and his girlfriend being a slut didn't help.

Why does someone always have to be to blame? Maybe it was his own f***ing fault he went and shot up three people?

How was his girlfriend a slut?

What I cannot believe are the DIVS and SPACTOIDS joining Facebook groups calling him a "legend". Not to mention the unrelated CRETINS visiting the place of his demise, laying flowers and taking pictures with their bloody phones.

This pissing country is UNBELIEVABLE at times.

Spot on.

I wish these morons would get back to doing something sensible like closing down the country to mourn the death of the people's Princess.

Indeed. The bloke muirdered an innocent man, tried to murder someone he allegedly cared about then shot a policeman in the face for no reason who was doing nothing except sitting in his patrol car. He had a history of physical abuse. Apart from giving the busies the run-around fro a few days, what on earth was there to admire/respect about this bloke.

A psychological report did not recommend treatment.

rather implies he had seen someone, but dont let that get in the way of a story.

incidently i heard on the radio the other day that he had been investigated for abusing his kids. seems from that link social services were indeed looking at that. what a hero.

What a majority of my generation don't seem to realize is there is a difference between what happened being sad and him being a legend.

you either agree with what he did or you don't.

What he did was wrong. You cannot begin to justify it. It is however sad that he was pushed far enough to do such horrible unjustifyable things. Why blame? Its a sad case that slipped through the cracks until there were no more cracks to slip through so he took a gun out.

... there is something called personal responsibility. you are falling into exactly the same trap as those you say see it in black or white. he wasnt "pushed" into anything, he didnt slip through cracks. dont make excuses, that somehow society let him down or something, he chose a path.
