I think we would have to be very lucky to keep the squad fit to stand a real chance of going up

As you saw today we just need a couple of key players to not turn up and we look more like relegation fodder against the decent sides.

Our team was probably the best selected considering Don Cowie was injured and John Eustace not fully fit...although quite frankly the latter would have at least got stuck in!

Gilmartin isn't the regular goalie but that shouldn't excuse the mistake he did (and we've all seen the world's best make such errors before)

Mackay seemed to play players out of position like Deeney and the little lad in central midfield which failed to work.

We have a lot of youngsters so they will be inconsistent and have relied on the odd loan player or two who have gone back (Andrew Taylor - left back and Mutch from Birmingham) who haven't been replaced fully.

As for the ground...well if we had any sort of money we'd be getting a nice new pitch (Saracens are leaving) and a new stand but we don't so stuck for now...unless we sold players which we don't want to do.

Cheers mate, always nice to welcome friendly opposing fans to our board. Yes, as others have said, good friendly club, and the away end concourse apart, it will be an excellent ground should you build a new main stand. Perhaps you could put away fans in there, as your fans in the Vicarage Road End for most games can use the Rous Stand facilities; it's a shame the facilities in that stand are so bad, as the view was great from there. When do Saracens move out? Can you afford to lose their rent?

Yes, as others have said, good friendly club, and the away end concourse apart, it will be an excellent ground should you build a new main stand. They are going to somewhere in Barnet (not Underhill!) next season which is good for the pitch but as you suggest probably not good for lack in revenue.

Doubt we will seeing development on the ground for a whille unless we get taken over etc which is a shame as we could do with a face-lift.
