Well Done to our supporters

NSC's Most Stalked
Also well done to all the Albion fans in the Birbeck after the game, who were taunted by the Orient fans as YMCA played on the juke box. The response being 40 or so Albion fans singing and doing the actions in unison, leaving the Orient fans no choice but to applaud our "sense of humour"

We were in the right hand side, stood towards the front and no sitting down apart from at half time. I noticed that the left hand side were all sitting down.

Support was pretty good and noisy where I was. Slade got a good reception when he cam out before the game.

Players looked gutted at the end, I was. No way did we deserve to lose that match.

1915 official figure according to albion match report on the website, but i reckoned there must have been more than that as most of the 3600 stand seemed near full and loads of people i spoke to bought tickets on the day! Great atmsophere not quite that of leeds or forest last season but still good! :ascarf:

I was on the right hand side and thought it was ok, not sure where this theory that all the singing was on the left has come from, I think it just depends where you were sat.
And for the benefit of spider, I bought a fanzine from one of your lot in the stand.

We were saying that? How it was 1915 I can't see? Where we were it seemed pretty full? Look at the picture on this thread, the stand doesn't look nearly half full does it??

If anyone was in the home stand I am sure they'd have a better view and could probably say otherwise.

I'm sure it sounded pretty good to anyone outside the Stands. Down on the pitch there is no way that the players were other than 100% aware of a very large, noisy and supportive following.

Do we have any acoustics specialists on NSC? Why is that noise doesn't seem to travel well sideways along a stand? Also, why is it that when you are in the middle of a chanting group the noise can on the one hand sometimes sound louder to you than it is being heard elsewhere (e.g. small band of away fans taunting home fans who are none the wiser as they can't really hear the chant...) but on the other hand I suspect that often your own noise doesn't sound as loud to you as it is heard elsewhere (e.g. at Orient our support/noise would have been relatively loud to anyone in one of the other 3 stands but to us it seemed a bit quiet...)

To put it another way - when the Orient bobblers managed a couple of fairly lame efforts it sounded good enough to me - the full cry of our 2,000 travelling fans surely must have been a lot better?

Anyone sit in the home section and can comment?

I sat in the home section and will comment.

Singing was loudtatsic for first half. Second half became a little lame.

Mmmm, yes, looks like a real seething caldron of passion....:p

Instead of taking the piss, why not get of your back side & go to an away game & support the team. Much more fun than posting negative shit on here :salute:
