Interestingly enough I understand the majority of other clubs offer their STH first choice on away tickets or have a loyalty scheme of some sorts.
Sorry, Beachy, that doesn't automatically assume that that is the right way of doing it.

A loyalty scheme of sorts can be set up, but it needs to be administered - further expense.

Getting quite interesting now isn't it all those larging with tickets and saying the system is fine it was your fault etc etc etc.

Better still those that are now touting them for higher prices.

I fear this may well be an exceptionally expensive own goal by the club.

Still if STH don't bother renewing and there is no BHAFC you can blame us all over again

im sure i read in another thread that you have got 2 tickets for the game though ??? and at face value, i really cant see where the problem is ?? forgetting all the loyalty to STH etc etc...your going to the game, so why is all thisdebate / arguing continuing ??? (maybe its me ?? i dunno :p )

But we are slowly all comming to terms with the fact a 50/50 split is wrong therefore will the club react ?

You read correctly and I duly donated the required money to REMF however my two kids are STH therefore they are not happy as they are not going either.

I'm a STH and hope the club keep it at 50/50, atleast till we get Falmer.

Well I disagree needs to be 70/30 minimum.

It would not be just me suggesting this - several others as well. Don't bite of the hand that feeds you.

Yeah, 'several others' who also didn't get tickets for what would have probably been their first game outside of Sussex for two years because of not getting their application in on time.

Wrong - being a good proprietor he would have saved the best for his loyal customers who pay his wages and told them in advance I have this new order arriving...............

The Albion has done that by setting aside half the tickets for STH.

No one is disputing that STH put their money in their pockets. Some of us do it in other ways and get nothing back in return.

If West Ham had done the decent thing and given the club the other 2,000 tickets they asked for, both the superior fans and the rest of us would have been happier. Instead we have civil war breaking out amongst the ranks.

It's only 'wrong' for the given circumstances of this game, and they can't fanny about with the rules for every game. It would probably have worked fine if we'd drawn, say, Sunderland away. The proportion of STHs (in relation to the entire away following) wanting to go would have been significantly lower. For West Ham, due to high demand from STHs and non-STHs, it doesn't work to everyone's satisfaction - for Sunderland, it would.

And before you say, how would I know, this is one of the central points of what the debate is about - the proportion of regular away Albion fans who are not STHs.

I'll try that next time I'm in Tesco and they've run out of something on special offer that I want. I'll explain to the duty manager that he should have put some aside for me because I go in there three times a week.

No they cannot keep fannying around but change it and see if it works better next time ?

Also what the f*** was the JPT think all about as it is now possible fans who are neither STH or AMS could be going

Poor analogy when you haven't paid for your goods 5 months in advance.

Shows your lack of loyalty, why are you not shopping at MORRISONS Steven :glare:

I am now GLAD you did not get a ticket, as you are clearly not committed enough to a former employer.

I'm a season ticket holder along with my father and brother. We travel down from London to home matches and also try to get to as many away games as possible.. we have done for the past ten years inc. the two seasons at Gillingham.

Living 50miles from Brighton, we found ourselves at the back of the queue for the play off final tickets- we had to queue for 9 HOURS to buy tickets, behind many people who had never even seen the Albion play!! That was bad enough, but we haven't been allocated tickets for the West Ham game despite sending off our application on the day of the ticketing announcement.. including 3 stubs!! This is simply unbelievable. The guys in the ticket office agree that STH are being screwed and said "all the away members have come out of the woodwork for the West Ham match". How can this be fair? Think carefully.. do you want the Albion to exist next season? Because our family for one are reconsidering our 1500 pound ticket purchase come March and there must be hundreds of others doing the same.

I really cant see any advantage in being a STH anymore....

I can. £3.50 off EVERY home match for one, and you only need to buy a train ticket as far asa Haywards Heath.

And I refer the new Member for Mayfair to the reply I gave earlier regarding terms and conditions, or lack thereof, regarding any other benefits.
