Why should STH get priority for away games, home yes away no.

Simple if there was no season ticket holders renewed there would be no club, BHA would go bust.

This has been said many times away supporters give the club nothing in terms of income from gates except in cup games, which we do not usually play many.

STH should obviously have priority over anybody else for ANY tickets, home or away if only for that one reason.

Well said BG's - it saved me from typing it myself! The club should incentivise supporters to spend money with the Albion and not to every other club in the league!!! This is even more so with the Albion who are struggling financially, particularly with Falmer dragging on.

I (and my Dad and brother) who are all STH's put our applications in the collection bin at Swansea and so far have received no tickets (and no money has been taken from my account). Given the fact that there is no longer a great demand for tickets (and I generally can't make half a dozen games in the season) what other reason is there to give the Club £500 in February 6 months before the season starts?

Getting quite interesting now isn't it all those larging with tickets and saying the system is fine it was your fault etc etc etc.

Better still those that are now touting them for higher prices.

I fear this may well be an exceptionally expensive own goal by the club.

Still if STH don't bother renewing and there is no BHAFC you can blame us all over again

Just when unity amongst the fans should be a paramount concern to yourself and the Board (support for Falmer, etc), you have managed to piss off a large number of STH to the extent that several wont be renewing next season.

Before anyone claims this is another moan about West Ham tickets, unfortunately not so. Having STHs queuing for 9 hours outside the ticket office waiting for a Play Off Final ticket, missing out on Spurs away and now West Ham is the final straw.

When will he realise that STH always have and always should have priority over match tickets???

For many, it seems time has run out, and when it comes to March and the ST renewals are sent out, many will be in the bin along with the rest of the junk mail. Next season's home average attendance could now drop to 5k, giving the NIMBYs plenty of ammo.

An awful shame when the Club are haemorrhaging vast amounts already each week, but this is a result of showing STHs a TOTAL lack of respect.

By 'rewarding' those fans who pay 20-odd quid to each OTHER club in the division every fortnight you have lost many core supporters giving OUR Club 450+ quid each year.

Congratulations.
Then I'd put it to you that you bought your season ticket for the wrong reasons.

Can you find me anywhere in the terms and conditions where it says that season ticket holders have automatic priority to 'major' cup games? No? Is it because it's not there? So why not moan when you bought your season ticket originally, or is this a Glover-esque flouncemoan because you didn't get exactly what you wanted, even though you were never promised it in the first place?

Oh, and EVERYONE had to queue for their Cardiff ticket - like, boo hoo. It meant EVERYONE got to sit with their mates, rather than STHs together in one place, and non-STHs sitting elsewhere.

Serious question: Would you be quite so critical of the club if your application had been successful?

Other point of reference from other posters regarding away match attendance - how does the club or the individual monitor which away matches they went to? For instance, I paid cash on the door at Doncaster, so there is no actual record of me going. How is a situation like this going to resolve itself? Anyone?

I saw you there, so problem solved  Martin Perry just has to give me a call and I will confirm it.

Of course he wouldn't. The floppy-haired bellend would just find something else to fill his 50-posts-a-day-of-utter-crap quota with (doubtless more thread-wrecking shite with Ernest so at least we've been spared a little of that).

My mates and I didn't get tickets and I know why: we didn't get our applications in quick enough. That said, even if we had there was always a risk that we'd miss out because demand has outstripped supply.

It's only the second time I've ever missed out on getting tickets (the other being Southampton away last season, for exactly the same reason) so I don't feel too hard done by and, like I said earlier, I'd rather have gone to Orient anyway.

To be honest I actually think I would and feel quite vindicated with the recent support and the rise in resentment.

I think the club should at least issue a statement saying they understand the issues now and are looking at the system again.

I think it is patently clear if there is a large portion of STH not renewing the club will be in serious trouble and this shambles does not help one bit.

I know people say football is different but if I purchased something in your shop (which I have) and say I washed it and it went out of shape or the "fixtures" logo fell apart I would come back and complain. If you then responded along the lines TINY (Tough It's Now Yours) I probably would not bother coming back and to a certain extent I think you would see that as well.

At the end of the day it is about a service to a customer who has bought a product be it a shirt in a shop or a season ticket at a football club. OK the playing side is sometimes poor but this shambles could have easily been prevented.

Err, didn't they do that after the Tottenham game which led to a change of system for this game and as a result a higher percentage of season ticket holders will be at Upton Park? You probably didn't notice because you got tickets for the Tottenham game. What's the saying, 'I'm alright, Jack'?

True, we could have lost at home to Northwich and this whingefest would never have occurred.

But they DID cater for Season Ticket Holders. You seem to be implying that they didn't. 2,050 season ticket holders were guaranteed a ticket.

Similarly, I have to not only look after people who have have bought a FIXTURES t-shirt, but also people who haven't, but might at some point in the future, and to people who are happy to promote and support the shop even if they don't do so financially. I simply wouldn't be able to ignore them as well.

I genuinely think it's quite innovative that the club tries to look after everyone. My only beef would be that possibly a greater proportion (say 75/25 or 70/30) should go to STHs, and similarly those who are glory-hunters can f*** off.

But what you want is not the same as that.

What you would be saying to TLO is something along the lines of

'I've bought loads of stuff in your shop, I should have had one of those limited edition shirts saved for me, even though I couldn't get down to your shop as soon as I knew you had them!"

What are you suggesting, that the club sold West Ham tickets to STHs only first?

Yeah, good one.

It would not be just me suggesting this - several others as well. Don't bite of the hand that feeds you.

Interestingly enough I understand the majority of other clubs offer their STH first choice on away tickets or have a loyalty scheme of some sorts.

Wrong - being a good proprietor he would have saved the best for his loyal customers who pay his wages and told them in advance I have this new order arriving...............
