I managed to fit in all three games over the past six days, and was VERY impressed. It all started disastrously, of course - a goal behind and down to 10 men after just 7 mins v Charlton. But the reaction was fantastic, and we could even have nicked it at the end. On Saturday we murdered Orient....5 goals, but could have been more. Then yesterday, we played a very lively Exeter, and the game developed into one of the best I've seen for a long time. We rode our luck at times, but the winner was just about merited.
Special mentions to Glenn Murray - outstanding in all three games, Casper - some great saves v Charlton, Wood - I'm beginning to realise what he brings to the team, Barnesy - great performance coming off the bench at Exeter, especially the goal, and Taricco - not bad for someone of his age, and his passing is still Premiership quality. Oh, and hats off the Gus for not settling for a draw at Exeter, which would have been the easy option.
