Easy-Jet return to Geneva £95 for 2 people
Transfers from Geneva to Tignes return £210 for 2 people
Lift Pass for whole Espace Kily area (over 200miles of runs!) £270ish for 2 people
Apartment self-catering £335 for 2 people
Total = £910

Divided by 2 so I/my mate pays = £455 each (usually pay that just for a hotel room)
All thats left is beer/food money.

Thats 8 days (7 nights, got an extra day/night for £35) in probably the best ski area in the French Alps. High resort of Tignes which has runs open all year round, its already started snowing out there on the lower slopes and last year the best snow was at the beginning of the season.
Either way I'm gonna get hammered, party lots and fly down some black runs into fresh powder fields......oh boy my mouth is watering at the prospect already...Roll On December!

Good one Crabtree.

I am about to book mine to La Plagne in Feb - a group of us in a 18 bed chalet.

Spent 3 weeks there once (supposed to be a season but things went wrong), decent enough place, night life is pretty good. Did'nt get to sample the slopes that much as the snow was non-existant!

CrabTree have you got your own gear?

......any old snowboards you want to flog? I'm thinking about buying a "test" one otherwise.

I have got a 152cm board but my mates gonna be using that for this trip, also got size 9/10 Switch Step-ins which are OK but I prefer proper bindings for respnsiveness.
Got all my own gear, although only just changed my first snowboard trousers after 8 years
Got a load of gear plus new board at 1/2 price at the end of last season, thats the time for the best deals.

 That doesn't help!!!

I found test boards that are cheap on blue tomato link from www.goneboarding.co.uk website. they been used but they're so cheap. Still not sure if it's worth buying altogether tho, we'll see.

We're off to the Milky Way this year - already excited!!!!!!!!! Only bad news is there is meant to be alot of drag lifts (I hate them more than NSC users hate dwayne)

yes drag lifts are a bastard! Your best bet is to pop to as many snowboard shops as possible, see what they have to offer and if your still after a cheap one then use the 'net, although be careful with 2nd hand stuff off the net as they may fail to tell you about the sidewall damage meaning moisture gets into the board and it'll soon become crap!

to saux d'oulex (spelling?)

Went to les 2 alpes last year which was amazing!!! that was 200km but the milky way is meant to be 400Km so quite excited.

Have you been b4, do you know if it's easy to get across the whole area? (I'm guessing the pass allows it)
