I wore them last time, but we had a police escort.

Funniest moment was when a pissed Palace pikey tried to boot our coach but fell over hopelessly :lolol:

There were loads of Albion in the pubs near Shithurst park - all wearing the stripes :clap2:

The Met's way of dealing with away fans:-

It doesn't matter where you're going to, you will still be frogmarched to the station.

Hmm... tricky one this, seeing as Palarse aint really that far from where I live in Woolwich. Can get a bus or two there methinks, so might do it that way and just wear the stripes in the ground. Saying that, if I'm frogmarched to the station, how the hell will I get the bus? ???

Why should we be frog marched to the station when we are driving home ?

That's what happend to some fans last time. The bill wouldn't let anyone out of the cordon they had made.

Well they did last time fella. I live a bus ride away from Selhurst and when we tried to break away from the frogmarch to reach the bus stop the police nearly went apoplectic. Tried to explain to them that not everyone who supports Brighton lives in Brighton and the reply we got was "i'm not interested, you're going to the station and getting on the special trains laid on for you lot"

Only after a terse discussion with one of the Sargeants standing along the roadside did we manage to get out of the cordon.

Might be a little different as not so many away fans this year, but i doubt it.

Well the Police offered us a way out of the "escort" last time but we declined.

I was fortunate enough to have an Islington library card on me, which managed to convince the OB that we really did not want to be put on a train to GOSBTS, We were told we were "on our own" should we encounter any of the local neanderthals, mind you.

they cant keep people behind for 2 hours again on a week night can they?

Dunno what the last train is but i dont think they will want 2000 or so brighton fans hanging around too long,
Does anyone know if the express train stops in Hayards Heath, can remember from last time
