I doubt it, espicially when you fixture in his wages and what we're currently paying Thomson, Virgo and Livermore. If we're going to sign an attacking midfielder I think there are better options out there than Westlake.

I suspect Virgo's wages would have been too high as he was coming from Celtic, but it is not unheard of for a player to take a wage cut if they think the move is right for them. Forster being another good example.
