I thought Mr Poyet had an experiened central defender at the top of his January transfer list. My feeling is if we don't sign someone in the mould of a Butters or Morgan we will struggle all season. There is too much panic and it's no coincidence that our results for the last 2 seasons have been poor since we lost that vital 'old head' at the back.
Poyet needs to find someone who is not playing regularly who has experience of Championship football, I don't care if he is 35 years old, there are players out there if we offer the right incentive. I fear we will be toying with the bottom 6 all season unless this happens. I believe in Poyet and I hope he is thinking the same as me, I've watched enough games to have a strong opinion.
