good to hear .... as a player I have already posted my opinion that he is possibly the most exciting Albion signing in 25 years

Just goes to show, the contrast between someone's media-manufactured 'image' and the reality. Some might have expected a somewhat over-confident, flash kid, who had possibly even begun to believe all the media hype.

Instead, we found a warm, engaging individual, thoughtful and modest to a fault. He was very funny at times, extremely knowledgeable about the wider game, and was clearly loving his time at the Albion. His appreciation of the efforts of his teammates, and particularly Charlie, to "take me under their wing" was, frankly, touching.

Although his family are from Leyton, mercifully it turns out they are all 100% Gooners!

We discovered a lot about CKR in a short time and, whatever happens to his future career, I think we all went away hugely impressed with the man himself. As Clapham Gull says, a real credit to his family. He deserves to do well at the Albion, and I'm sure he really is going to deliver the goods.

I remember seeing his interview on Meridien in the summer just after he'd signed, and he was clearly THRILLED to have joined the club. I recall thinking then how refreshing it was to see a player so openly excited at having signed for us.

Then I went and made some toast, and tidied the loft.

He's a top fella.
Although some comments on NSC may wind up his friends and family I seriously doubt 10-20 negative people on a fans forum have any impact on him.

Great things happened on here for Falmer but the voice of NSC is not as important as some would think.

Was the toast worth consuming after the loft cleaning exercise?

And another one. So how does such a nice bloke turn into the antichrist in less than a year?
By acting like a spoilt (and useless) toddler in the mean time, would be my guess.

He doesn't. Some people make assumptions and then decide those assumptions are fact. Some people hear a certain opinion of his performance at Rotherham and take that as fact.

Without knowing all the facts, no one can give an informed opinion. Lets wait and see what happens. Bring on a CKR winner this Saturday.

He's just frustrated becasue he isn't getting a chance to contribute, and thats a good thing because it shows that he cares. :clap2:

No, if you care, you don't look for the easy escape option - you stay and see it through ...
