I've always liked the way he comes across in interviews, glad to hear he is as he seems. :)

Saw Kaz's goal via that link elsewhere on here....fookin stupendous strike. He'll get lots and lots of sex if he keeps that up.
Were you sitting rather uncomfortably when you watched the goal then? :lolol:

After seeing just a little of him at Withdean a few games ago, it looked to me like he's 'something special' - and I love his willingness to have a go when nobody expects it. He's one of those players that I pray doesn't have stoic obviousness trained into him - where players do the usual wall passes and predictable patterned play. Not that training is bad, only if the instinctive individuality gets displaced at that cost. If players always do the normal level professional-football that has been seen before on pitches all over the country - then no matter how well teams do it, we are a 'known entity'.
He's a lad who looks 'bright-eyed and bushy-tailed' and that attitude wins games.

I really long to see Colin become a Falmer stadium legend, but I think the fans have to support the side to stay up in the Championship - and not dis-illusion the players. We are not a throw-away, lax team - and I've seen a few of them in my time to identify them. Credit and support to the manager and the players we have - "salute" to CKR, and up The Albion!!

Given the abuse he's had from some of the fools on here it's a credit to the guy for turning up and coming over so well. The abuse some players get on here is quite pathetic given that they're probably the worst paid players in this division and the financial limitations of the club.

Good luck Colin, you'll do for me.

Exactly, if you have negative opinions about players, especially the younger and less experienced ones, keep them to your bloody self. Dont post them on a website where the players concerned are bound to read them and thus ruin their confidence even more.

Give the players a f***ing break.............THAT MEANS YOU ERNEST.

Im sorry i disagree.

I think ckr is a good player but if people want to slag him off on here why should they not? ots not a love in its a fans message board.

One of the most elequent, funny and intelligent 19 years I have ever had the opportunity to meet.

.. and although he's only been here a few months he bleeds Albion through and through.

Christ the kid can talk, and as they say he had the audience in the palm of his hand.

I'm not going to repeat word for word the meeting, but I suggested tonight that a few of us may wish to "put things right"

He is perfectly aware of what was posted on here because his family and friends read the site.

If his family and friends are reading this can I say that nobody at that meeting will disagree with me when I say that Colin in an absolute credit to you.

This was summed up his wish to go round the table and shake the hand of everyone there and personally thank them for his opportunity to meet the fans.

Thank you Colin for taking the time and thanks to Paul Welch for giving me to opportunity to meet him.

What CG said. I thought Colin came across extremely well - modest, good sense of humour and genuine appreciation of the supporters. To quote the man "Brighton is a fans club".

Hopefully this link works for the Baadiff goal.

But what did he say?

Various things, including how inspirational Charlie is the dressing room, that he is due to exchange on a property in Brighton today, how much the players value the support from the fans, how MM has an attacking philosophy for the team, and how we should look out for his younger brother in terms of new talent.

Superstar is the LAST word I would use to describe him

Nice well brought up and grounded kid who doesn't deserve being called what he was called on here ?

Most certainly yes....

Are you going to get him on the back of your shirt?

I am sure he is a nice bloke but he has hardly pulled up any trees for the Albion and comes across as having a suspect attitude. 3 goals over 20 league games is very poor so lets not start kissing his feet just yet.

Any evidence of this? I've not seen one little sign of it myself.
