Back to that table. It's great to be sitting on top of that pile, but we have seriously got to sort out our first innings batting. We have only obtained 7 batting points out of a possible 20. (11/12 bowling points). It's all well and good winning games, but when the shitty weather comes along, or when Rana goes to play for Pakistan, those victories are not going to be so easy to come by.

Someone (Uncle Buck?, Chappers?) said at the beginning of the season that our pace attack was going to be awesome, while our batting (especially the openers) was not as good as it could be. I poo-pooed the notion, but it looks like they were spot on.
