not only are we playing shite now but we are losing aswell!!!
Todays 1st half was one of the most clueless displays of football from 2 sides I've seen in years, the quality of football was worse than non league. When we brought on Piercey and Carpenter for the 2nd half things improved and we were mediocre, (had 3 similar chances and should have bagged one of them) where as Colchester stayed DREADFUL and their goal was the just about their only shot all game (if u could call it that). It was dull and depressing, me, beeneys gloves and chemical brother were in with Colchester's uninspiring fans.
So overall we were unlucky not to get a point, but make no bones about it we were pretty abysmal, we play a long ball game now and Coppell is not getting a reaction from the players after a poor display the previous game (a la Adams and Taylor).
So where do we go from here?? well I think we should keep carpenter and rodger playing every game and try and bring in a premiership midfielder, I really like the look of Piercy. Gary Hart has been our only outstading player in just about every game this season, he needs a pat on the back. Our defence looked a little tighter today but it wasn't really tested, again I wouldn't moan if we brought in a loanee. Upfront we should give Henderson back and get someone half decent to give Knight a hand. What has happened to knight though?? I'm alraedy beginning to regret signing him now and I maybe QPR got the better end of the deal by bringing Tony Thorpe in??
