You are the biggest melt on here.Keyboard Kenneth

:D

Touched a nerve ?

Where was I when we were shit ? Unfortunately for a lot of the time I was there. Been a ST holder at Goldstone,Withdean and now Amex - and do about 6-8 away games a season. Went to Gillingham on an ad hoc basis. I cannot claim to be an uber fan like some of our wonderful fans but I have seen my fair share of protest marches, demonstrations and getting stuffed at Scunthorpe, Donny etc. Shit Albion teams - seen too many to mention.

As for Palace - they have never had shit times for over 35 years (isn't that your own boast?). You think shit times is struggling in the Championship so your fans have never been tested. However, I do note that when financial shit times hit Palace your fans went missing - less than 200 on your liquidation protest and empty seats on your potential last home match. Your away support is a joke - we took more to Millwall yesterday than you can ever muster.

As for melts we don't request Police escorts for our home games or keep our own fans locked in for their own safety. Palace - I wouldn't p*ss on it/them if they were on fire (no offence intended) :D

TBH both players on their day are very good , but for me wilf is the better player and will play at the top level very soon
I expect Zaha to reach a much higher level the Buckley, but over the last season I think Buckley has performed the better (although he has more injury problems than Wilf, which is not to be ignored).

You have started very well ( too well for my liking ) but there is a very long way to go , there are very tough games coming soon so we will see if your position stays the same after them
There sure is a long way to go, and I don't expect us to still be there. I hope our bad runs are short, and we're challenging to be in the top 6 all season though.
Im quietly confident we will have a good season and cant wait for our two games ,if we both carry on with our current form they should be good uns .
Our games should be good, they can easily go either way. We beat Barnsley 5-1 and they beat Birmingham 5-0 (and we could easily drop points against Birmingham on Saturday). Middlesbrough got stuffed by Blackpool, then went and beat the league leaders. It's a competitive league and anyone can win on their day.

Against Palace, my hope is that we finish above them, and don't lose both games against them, then I'll be happy. If we were to do the double over them, that would be incredible.

You always get an answer. Most of us were going to the Withdean, but not every week. To say it was crap is such an understatement. As said above, an atmosphere with no roof was impossible, so most of us didn't bother to sing. Without our own ground we couldn't spend money on players, and we were spending any spare money on a planning application.. so we were sat a long way from poor quality football with no atmosphere and no hope of success. When we got to the Championship, we knew it would take a miracle to stay there. I'm amazed as many of us went as did. It was often sold out.

Doubt it fella ,you however averaged under 8,000 for 14 years or am I wrong.
A couple of those seasons were at Gillingham, and the average capacity for the 12 years at Withdean was under 8,000, so it would take some doing to average 8,000.

However you lot trying to lord it over us after 1season 8 games makes you all look a bit deluded and pathetic really.
I don't see why. We've only had one season in the last 15 where we've had our own ground and been able to buy players, so at last we can play to our potential. It makes sense for fans to compare where we're at right now, sport tends to be about the now. As things stand, we're doing better than Palace. Maybe you could turn it around, but right now the bragging rights are ours.

Better for them , we all know they have been suffering from altitude sickness for the last 3 or 4 seasons.
