How do you know Villa wouldn't pull the same things as Saints? It's not a good sign they didn't want him cup-tied, is it?

Re. Blayney - I wasn't suggesting an early move for him but simply that his contract with Saints expires this season. I would hope come January when we are allowed to talk to him without Saints' permission, we will explore that avenue.

Yes... read that article earlier and again just now... not sure that it is saying we have applied for the 3-month extension... certainly, Henderson wants a perm (which is nice!)... personally, I would be concerned that the FDM may not be back in time if Henderson's loan is extended... also, will Villa agree to the request for a loan extension?... they want to off-load...

Based on fact that Villa want to offload Henderson... perm deal very close with QPR b4 he joined us on loan...

As I said before, Blayney is a 'no-no' per the Insider...

My main concern is that Kuipers injury has altered his ability to be the great player that he was.

He hasn't tried it in any playing situation yet and I wonder if it may be too much from which to come back.

Not leaping to conclusions, just stating the facts re Henderson close to joining QPR...

The only conclusion leapt to on this thread is yours re Henderson's 3-month loan, which is, in fact, currently one-month...

If the loan period for Wayne Henderson is extended by another 2 months there will still be an instant recall clause by Villa. I eagerly await the return of FDM as this will cause competition by all 3 senior keepers to remain within the sticks. The tall Frenchman looked useful in the warm-ups at Hull last week.

I am saying that I think Villa want to off-load Henderson... they would prefer a perm deal, as would the player...

Please do tell why the QPR deal broke down, oh mighty oracle...
