I agree with this post entirely. We need Virgo's physical presence up front to continue playing a style of football that suits the players we have at our disposal.

Piercy ain't a bad player, but he's not the target man we need, and neither (unfortunately, cos I like him) is McPhee.

Piercy is nothing more than cover for Currie IMHO. Watto is only cover for El-Abd or Hinsh.

Would love to see Piercy do well this season, but I fear we could be saying goodbye at the end of the season
