**** it let's go two up front. Things like The Mirror interview worry me a little, because he says he's basically not willing to change the system if it doesn't work. Look at what Solsjaer did for Cardiff yesterday, sub after 38 minutes because they were crusin' for a brusin'. They turn it around and win 2-1.

I don't think the formation needs changing as much as the personnel. 2 of the midfielders need to be wingers with pace, otherwise Ulloa is going to spend the majority of the game stood on his own as there isn't a player quick enough to support him. It's a very negative line up in all honesty.

The stone age just called and it wants its tactical advice back.

What the Stone Age that is sitting in the top 7 places of the Championship ?

Why is Ulloa playing so badly recently? He must be match fit by now, it must be a confidence thing

If he's got three centre backs on him it must be hard?

The shape would naturally change depending on the players selected, so we're both right. Two players can fulfill the same "role" in very different ways.

The whole system, however, is based around an "anchor" (Bridcutt, latterly Ince) through which the entire team structure is built. We don't have that today, we have JFC who disappears for large swathes of every match, David the same, Orlandi the same, Keith Andrews who slogs around the midfield and Stephens who is an unknown quantity. When it's fair weather the likes of JFC and Orlandi look like superstars, but without a Bridcutt there it's all headless chickens.

You're right. All these fantastic crosses and passes for him to latch onto and all the support he is getting. Must be lack of confidence.
