Still utterly confused as to why we have 2 defenders(one at home,one on loan) not here, and Poyet brings on Taricco on for Bridcutt when Navarro is on the bench.

I would think that Navarro is on the bench because he was the only player not in the squad who had his boots with him. I would much sooner have a37 year old Tarrico come on than Navarro any day of the week. He has proved since his injury that he is far too slow and should be moved on.
