Wasps and The Goldstone

I read that Wasps RFC were awarded 2.5 mill in compensation
because the surveyors of the ground they sold undervalued
by that amount. This was back in late 1990's.

So it begs the question (even though I'm sure that that scum
archer and belotti fixed it)

who valued the Goldstone and is there any comparison?

I'd consult Build a Bonfire, but lent it out a while ago.

Who did they get the compensation from? The Surveyor? Even if a similar thing could be proved with the Goldstone who would get the money?
