Yes a red but Tarkowski should also have had one. Ref very quick to book Albion players and manager, lenient with Everton. Scared of Dyche is my conclusion who behaved way worse than RDZ on the touchline.
Tarko did similar in his last game against Palarse. And smirked when he got away with it. Cheating thug.

Not completely identical, but the same sort of thing - going in a bit hard, more related to the follow through than deliberate.

Again, follow through

That’s exactly what’s wrong with VAR.

That’s not a red card either.

When the player goes in for the tackle, only the ball is there. It’s a classic 50-50. The opposition players’s leg only appears once the tackling player has made contact with the ball.

Critically, the opposition player does not need to dive in for a 50/50 too late. He is putting his leg into a challenge TOO LATE to take the ball. There is only one outcome if you blindly look at the image without considering the fact that the fouled player MISSED THE BALL and thus, put themselves into a vulnerable position.

Only a red on slo-mo.

Red card all day long, unless Billy was a Man Utd player

Thought it was a red in real time (I thought it was Lallana) and think it’s a red now

Soft red. He got the ball and caught the player on the follow through. Under today's rules, it's a red.

Bit frustrating that it gets the same penalty as the Holgate assault on Mitoma though.

Yeah that has annoyed for years! I’ve seen it punished loads but what is the player meant to do? They’ve played the ball and someone else has stuck their leg in.

Under today's rules, it's a red. Whether the rules are right is a different question. It certainly seems unfair that Maguire had a zero game ban and Holgate and Billy have a 3 game ban each.

I think you need to re-read the current laws.
