Pleasing not to have to put up with his incoherent drivel for the Brum game on Seagulls World.

I know we are all supposed to feel sorry for him after his past tribulations, but I never quite understood why Radio Sussex had to be a charity case for him, as he really was utter rubbish. And his "CMS is raping their fullback" comment was as dire as they come.

So has he been permanently ditched or is that just wishful thinking?

Probably 'dropped' on the quite. BBC Sussex really struggle to get anyone to do the away games and used Paul Camilian for the Brum game - he's not bad thou. Shame they can't get Johnny Byrne to do them, but they pay peanuts i reckon.

You're out of order. Aspinall never said that.

Warren is like Marmite. I like him, some of his remarks are very insightful, and the odd one or two are hilarious.

The Richard Gere MOM comment was amazing.

Apart from that, he's pretty poor I agree with the OP.

The thing about Warren is that he doesn't give a shit. I kinda like that.

He actually said Noone is raping their full back, hahahaha.

I quite like Warren, thought Paul was alright on Tuesday as well but really I'm not too bothered about the quality of commentary as long as I get a basic gist.

I prefer Warren Aspinall as he says it as he sees it but Paul Camillin being an employee of the club, as are the players, cannot give a full appraisal of the situation and criticize the players for their mistakes.

I was under the impression that WA is now our chief "scout" on the opposition. Goes out, watches them, writes a report for Gus etc etc

Heaven help us.

If he can't get to grips with the names of our players, what chance has he got with ones he's unfamiliar with?

Angerman, Richard Gere, Lionel Dunk, etc, etc.

Did Aspinall have to apologise for that "raped" comment? I know Ronnie O'Sullivan did after saying something similar at the weekend when women complained.

I was told that our scout who reports back to Gus on how the future opposition play is Adie Cooper. Noticed it was reported that he and Charlie Oatway went out to Ireland to watch a player at Derry.

Like him, he's character and speaks his mind.

Certainly not a polished radio presenter but IMHO knows the game and makes some insightful coments.

Why don't they are fans to do it in the same way they do on Albion Roar, I am sure they could get Mendoza on for starters *mediawhore*

He reminds me a bit of Reginald Bosanquet - he sort of knows what he wants to say but the words won't come out in the right order.
