He's done ok and looked fairly solid but he's never going to be able to live up to the standards set by Wayne Bridge last season.

You're living a pipe dream if we are to instantly get someone as quality and classy as Wayne Bridge!

Average Champ left back after we had the best ever left back in the CHAMP last season.

Deffo take him off your hands if you contribute a bit to his wages Massive step up on what we have but would hope we're looking at developing Chicksen or Maxi into at least average Champ standard ourselves

He's been unfortunate in that Bridge was immense for us last season and he could do little wrong - if we had never had Bridge then i think we'd be a lot more positive than we are about Ward.

I like him though - does his job which is all you can ask. Wouldn't be unhappy if we signed him permanently.
