It IS a great cause, and I'd love to do it, but raising £300 in sponsorship (which you have to commit to) in such a short time could prove to be an obstacle.

Having raised quite a lot of money for charity over the summer I don't feel comfortable asking people to put their hands in their pockets again.

A little more notice would probably be sensible in future.
