The guy a few seats down always leaves at 86 without fail saying 'I can't take this anymore' regardless of the score. He also lightly taps me on the back.

Not much point in a protest that will look like an early exit, as usual.

A better and more obvious protest would be walking out on 5 minutes, and coming back on 10. That way it will be clear what's going on.

That said, I'd prefer to know for sure what he's alleged to have done before committing my support. 'Too much singing' and I'm right behind him. 'Something unsavoury' and maybe I'm not. I mean to make no allegation about his behaviour or his character; I just want to be sure I'm protesting against a pointless, childlike, ridiculous, atmosphere-reducing ban before I take action.

How about a protest song?

To the tune of the old finger of fudge advert.

A song from the judge is just enough to get us all to sing
A song from the judge is just enough to get the boys to win
Tell all those miserable *******s they don’t have to join in
A song from the judge is just enough to get us all to sing

Who is the judge and what does he do?...

85 mins is too late for a walk out, definitely, the early leavers including myself won't be able to join in because we'll be half way home.
