Haven't received the email, so assume the club are only sending out to those that have voted in the past.

Usual problems (no photos, etc) so only have the statement to go on. I just wonder if AI has been used in at least one of the statements given how over the top is is.

I thought AI was definitely used - so I gave up and haven’t voted.

I'm normally fairly positive but it does all seem like a waste of time and those are all pretty anodyne statements. I can only speak for myself but all I want is someone to say they will work at getting maximum bums on seats, work every option to improve transport options, improve the atmosphere and to keep costs down.

Here is an AI draft:

I am eager to join the advisory board of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club because my passion for the club runs deep, having been a loyal supporter for 46 years. Throughout this time, I have experienced the highs and lows of our journey, and my unwavering commitment to the club has only strengthened my desire to contribute to its future.

As a long-time fan, I have a profound understanding of the values and culture that define Brighton & Hove Albion. I believe that my insights as a supporter can help bridge the gap between the club and its fanbase, ensuring that the voices of loyal fans are heard and considered in key decisions. I am particularly interested in fostering community engagement and enhancing the overall supporter experience.

Joining the advisory board would provide me with the opportunity to give back to a club that has been a significant part of my life. I am dedicated to working collaboratively with fellow board members to support the club's vision and goals, and I am excited about the prospect of helping to shape a bright future for Brighton & Hove Albion.

I did talk to 2 of FAB reps at a recent game .They agreed with the 2 points I raised but said had been raised with PB who would not agree. Good idea and brave of them to take questions. but unless ideas increased income or at least didnt cost them anything not a hope.

Staff student liaison committee.
I chaired ours for 10 years.
Half the student reps were happy, and the other half wanted a degree on the moon on a stick.

Probably done to death but I smudge those that stand for this but salty think it’s a total waste of their time. It ticks a box for the club and that’s it. The weird way they are splitting the board into different sections means you end up with a strange cross section and very few season ticket holders. Seems weird when 99% of the revenue from ticket sales comes from men’s STHs/1901ers
