What getting beaten 5-0 by some side from Bratislava? This is the worst Beggars side in a while and he is not in.
They're playing well now after a shaky start.

Funny to read that he thinks his game has improved since being there, despite barely having played any football. I think he's kidding himself and this was a bad mistake for his career. He'll be back playing Championship football next season.
It might prove to be - but then again Scotland is a crap league and he should get his chance if one or two injuries occur.

I suppose from his point of view, he might get a chance to play in front of 60,000 every week. You can't really turn that opportunity down unless you're a teenager and the whole footballing world is in complete agreement as to how good you will become - like Owen, Rooney and in probability Walcott.

The scottish league is ok and is somehow getting better while Scotland get worse.
You have 4 top teams up there now who could beat Brighton with ease.

Yep. Scotland are getting worse because the best players don't get the exposure at the two biggest clubs. Hence no trophies, no overseas exposure, so no big moves to Juventus or Chelsea.

I reckon anyway. Probably.

They might be now, but it is still one of the poorest sides to come out of Parkhead in a while and the chances are all the internal issues at Hearts mean that they will fall away and Rangers are not even at the races this season, so essentially it is a one team league. Shame that Dundee Utd are shite again this season.

i'm in the dwayne camp.

i'm sure he might gain some valuable experience (and money) from being with celtic for a year but he's never gonna be there for much more than that innit.

There's absolutely NO WAY Virgs could ever turn that move down. He's probably trebled his wages overnight (at least), and he's now at one of the biggest clubs in Britain. He'd have been an idiot to say no to that. I'm sure he feels he's good enough to make it, and has the faith in his own ability. It's fairly unlikely that at a club of that size he was ever going to waltz straight into the team, its bound to take time. But he's young enough to learn from the likes of Strachan and the players he's got around him up there.

He'll take his chance when he gets it. Good luck to the fella.
