Virgin TiVo boxes

I had the same problem about 18 months ago.
I phoned Virgin and they had never heard of the problem .I had an engineer round . He did a load things and replaced connectors . That didn't work.
And then , I think I may have unwitingly fixed it myself. At the time I was running the Tivo at about 97%. (all those HD series links) So I started deleting programmes down to about 80%. Since that time , I have never allowed my recordings to go above 89% and it has never rebooted itself since.
That rebooting every 4 days for a rest, is total tosh , but I hope this helps.

cant complain with ntl,sorry virgin,i pay 66 quid,thats umlilited phone,xl package with free bt sports and 2 boxes,plenty of free hd channels and decent broadband,cant go over to sky because everytine sky have offered me a package,i ring up virgin to cancel,they straight away offer me a better deal,hence why ive been with them so long

Empire - have you got all SkySports channels too, for that £66? Ta.

no mate not that lucky,just the usual sports channels plus bt vision
